I am a TA for CIS 460/560 and CIS 277 at the University of Pennsylvania.

In undergrad, I TA’d at Hiram College extensively for Introduction to Computer Science (CS 171), Java Programming (CS 172), Data Structures (CS 201), Computer Organization (CS 252), and UNIX Shell Programming (CS 205).  I’d never taken UNIX Shell Programming, but instead learned the material faster than the students.  Most of my work has been assisting in labs and grading assignments, but I did stand in for the professor for a review session.

I was the Senior System Administrator for the Computer Science Department at Hiram College, and also the webmaster for the CS website, so I controlled both the back-end of the server and the front-end with the website.  I have also been the webmaster of the official website of Hiram Village, and have contributed to the development of a website for the Hiram College newspaper, the Advance.

I once worked for an outdoor sporting goods store, the type of store that sells fishing, camping, and hunting equipment.  I sold knives and camping equipment for three years at that location, drawing on a lot of experience I had acquired throughout my progress to the Eagle Scout rank I was awarded in 2003.
