Really had to hit the ground running this semester!  I’ve been so busy, I couldn’t write an update until now.  So far in the semester I even had to drop a 300-level Math class to stay afloat with my courseload.  I’ve updated the other pages on the site too so they’re all accurate with regards to my research and academic details.  I’ve chosen to research and design algorithms to accurately portray smoke for my graphics research project.  So far I haven’t written a line of code and that worries me, but I’ve done plenty of brainstorming so hopefully that works out ok.

I’ve been accepted to a research conference for my summer work, and will be presenting my research in a poster session on September 28th in Hamilton, Ohio near Cincinnati.  In addition, I’ve been working on a research paper for submission to another research conference, and will soon get ready to take the GRE and apply to graduate schools, while getting ready to submit an abstract to another conference for the Spring!  That’s the tip of the iceberg for what I have to do, but at least I’m not bored.
